Abura akago are yokai, known as oil-licking babies. They enter people’s homes in the form of a flying fireball, and once inside, change into a baby appearance and lick the oil from paper lanterns. When they are satisfied, they shapeshift back to the flying fireball, and leave for the next house to repeat the same activity.
