A journal of exploring Singapore with Alex—our awesomely autistic little adventurer who loves all things that move, from planes to trains to shuttle buses. 🚌

Our weekends are built around simple rides and small discoveries across Singapore neighborhoods, parks and everyday places, with time to play, wander, and just be together. 💞

My philosophy behind this channel:

🗺️ Parenthood changes adventures; it doesn't end them.

💗 The memories we create are often more valuable than how much money we spend on each other.
❤️ Extraordinary moments can be found in ordinary places. Don't until we can afford a big vacation to feel fulfilled or happy. Find those moments whenever you can.

I also plan to write books inspired by my son’s love of adventure; however, this space is currently dedicated to the real memories we’re making together.

Pasir Ris Bus Interchange to Pasir Ris Sport Centre

Alex wanted to swim, so we headed to Pasir Ris Sport Centre one weekend, as it has a large swimming complex.When Alex said “swim”, he meant splashing around in the part of the pool where his feet could still touch the floor. Alex can’t swim yet. My husband has been trying to teach him, but I guess Alex needs more time to develop this skill. For a start, we are helping him learn how to float on his back. A Quiet Weekend at Changi Business Park Garden

Our weekend adventure began at Changi City Point, but not because we planned to go shopping. Alex, our little vehicle otaku, had his eyes on the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus made a loop around the nearby residential neighbourhoods before returning to the mall. It wasn't a long journey, but Alex enjoyed every minute of it. Train Pod @ One North

We booked a one-night stay at Train Pod @ One North to reward Alex for reaching a major milestone. Since the place was designed around a train theme, we already knew he would be excited, but his reaction still exceeded our expectations. Sentosa Night Walk

We planned an evening trip to Sentosa, hoping to see beautiful light decorations. With the Disney Cruise A Magical Island Adventure event taking place at Palawan Beach, we expected the island to be even more magical than usual—and it certainly didn't disappoint. SimplyGo Adventure Quest Pop-up

A few days ago, we saw someone post a short video about the SimplyGo Adventure Quest Pop-up. Knowing our ten-year-old vehicle otaku was almost guaranteed to love it, we immediately added it to our weekend plans. Then the weekend came, and off we went. The pop-up occupied the Level 2 atrium of Bugis+ and was buzzing with visitors. Random HDB Exploration in Tampines

After leaving Tampines Eco Green, we continued our little adventure by exploring some nearby HDB blocks to indulge Alex's latest fascination—walking along HDB corridors.
