Around Paya Lebar MRT Station

We didn’t go super far this week and just chilled around Paya Lebar MRT station. Since there are three shopping malls nearby, we figured Alex could check out some interesting toy shops.

Apart from the malls, we’d never really explored the outdoors around the area. So, this time, we did and discovered the SMRT office. Alex was expecting to see actual trains displayed in the office reception area, and yep, he was a little disappointed that wasn’t the case, but Paya Lebar Parkside Playground more than made up for it.

The area around the playground had a nice, chilled vibe. There was also a coffee shop right beside the playground, and my husband and I thought about coming back there one day.

For dinner, we simply went to the Kopitiam food court and had a chicken claypot dish.
