Ma Vu Dai (Vietnam)

Ma vu dai are unique ghosts from Vietnam, known for their unsettling habit of forcefully breastfeeding people. These phantom women are easily recognized by their sagging breasts, which droop down to their navels.

Once a ma vu dai is determined to breastfeed a target, fed they will be—there’s no escape. While ma vu dai can target anyone, they are especially drawn to babies and young children. Though their actions may seem bizarre—even darkly humorous—the origins of these ghosts are deeply tragic.
