Chay Kalain Ma, or a twisted-leg woman, is a ghost that haunts school toilets. As the name suggests, she has legs warped tightly together, making her look as if she stands on one leg instead of two. Yet, her deformed legs don’t slow her down. Chay Kalain Ma chases students at an incredibly fast speed by hopping on her legs.
Once pursued by this phantom woman, escaping is nearly impossible since she can effortlessly cover the distance that takes a child ten running steps in just a single hop. Children are advised to run from her in a zig-zag manner to have a higher chance of escape as she takes a slightly longer time to chase in this pattern.
